After a day-long journey, I spent my first day (Wednesday, March 12) mostly sleeping. It was a little hard, though, when I could hear constant honking from the streets below. How can I still hear honking when I’m staying all the way up on the 21st floor?! Hmm, this is not relaxing. But then again, this is Manila—full of people, dust, traffic. Maybe I should rethink staying here for so long. Maybe I should plan on going to other places in the Philippines sooner.
